It seems like the coastside has a tradition of
having pianos moved to different locations on the bluffs overlooking the ocean.
Every one is 'invited' to play. The pianos are then left there for a day
– a week – a month – whatever. They are typically removed back to their
“homes”. During my runs along the coastal trails I have seen as many as 3
at any given time, at different locations.
This is a piano at the end-of-life, like a fallen Viking sent off to
Valhalla in flaming glory. May the Valkyries restore it's soul to its glory days.
